You confirm that you have the authority to agree to these terms (for yourself or, if you are acting for an organization, on its behalf) and that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

Golden Path AI Companion is an online platform that helps older adults stay independent, connected, and confident. It includes an AI companion for conversation and guidance, daily living tools (reminders, lists, calendars), a learning academy, a community network, a family portal, a wellness center, and a resource library. Some features are available with a free membership; others require a paid subscription.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

You agree to notify us right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Commit fraud, spam, or deceptive practices
• Infringe someone else's intellectual property rights
• Interfere with the Service's security, including sending malware, probing, scraping, or trying to bypass limits
• Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content
• Share your account beyond what your plan allows

• Do not use the AI to create illegal, harmful, hateful, or harassing content, deepfakes, malware, or attempts to break its safety rules
• You are responsible for the prompts you enter, how you use the AI's responses, and for verifying that any important information is accurate before relying on it
• You must have the rights to any content you upload or share with the AI
• AI responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or tax advice

We may review, filter, or refuse AI outputs, and we may restrict or suspend accounts that repeatedly break these rules. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us at support@goldenpathai.org and we will investigate and act on valid takedown requests, including ending access for repeat infringers.

We retain ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, learning materials, branding, and design. The AI's responses are generated to help you; they are not owned as your exclusive intellectual property, and you should not present them as professional advice or as the work of another person.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal or household use within the plan you select. This right ends if you cancel or if we terminate your account under these Terms.

For payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics, please refer to Paddle's Buyer Terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Subscriptions renew automatically based on the billing cycle you choose (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through Paddle or your account dashboard; cancellation stops future renewals, and premium access ends when the current paid period ends or upon cancellation as described in our Refund Policy.

We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Occasionally the Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or create a security or fraud risk, or for repeated or serious violations. You may cancel your account at any time. When access ends, you may have a short window to export your content before it is deleted or anonymized.

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Neither we nor Paddle are liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, such as loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous twelve (12) months. These limits do not exclude liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the seller's principal place of business. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
